Castle

Castle

Your stone walls full of history

You are such a mystery

What secrets lay beneath our feet?

Where once you sat and dined,

Feeling fine,

Did those arrows hit your head?

Or did poison touch your body instead?

Across the years you have remained,

Prodded at and stepped on,

What secrets lay beneath our feet?

Where once longboats sailed at the shores,

Now tourists flock paddling pitifully,

Do you laugh as you stare?

Svains isle was the mumbles head,

This is the original town,

But later it spread out .

Hangings on may hill,

Where now houses sit,

Torture chambers one cannot go inside.

What secrets lay beneath our feet.
